Pittsburgh concert venue owner Liz Berlin has launched a GoFundMe for 40+ employees who have been hit hard by the temporary closure of the venue. Description below:

Like many other concert venues nationwide, Mr. Smalls has been forced to temporarily close our doors during the COVID-19 Pandemic to protect the health and safety of our staff, patrons, and community. We have had to postpone or cancel 50+ events at this point. While we were just gearing up for an amazing spring coming out of our slower winter season, this unprecedented event caused us to come to a grinding halt, and while we hope to be over this hurdle soon, the future is uncertain.

Our staff of 40+ employees have been hit extremely hard by the closure of Mr. Smalls Theatre, Funhouse, Cafe & Recording Studio during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The bartenders, security, sound engineers, lighting designers, kitchen & cafe staff, and production staff that make your nights at Mr. Smalls memorable need your help now more than ever.

If you are able to, please consider making a donation to this campaign to support our affected staff. 100% of the net earnings from this campaign will go directly to support Mr. Smalls employees.
